Abstract:

South Korean-Turkey’s ongoing good relation began after World War II, especially after the Korean War. How to observe and analyze the relationship of various impact factors on S.Korean-Turkey relation is of great importance. Among them, emotional or interests demanding is consistent with Primordialism and Instrumentalism respectively. Although the two can explain S.Korea-Turkey relation within a certain range, but are in an absolute, radical constructive process due to an excessive focus on mental or physical factors. Moderate Constructivism theory improves some elements, such as religion and culture, which are emphasized excessively by Primordialism and neglected relatively by Instrumentalism, from pseudo-relevance factors to mediators. Confronted with large number of complicated historical facts, only under moderate and rational theoretical analysis framework, accurate understanding of S.Korean-Turkey relation can be achieved.
